See Sergio's perspective on Fall Rally South in 2018, an event that proves year after year to be unlike any in the whole Key Club year!

The big day ahead: Fall Rally Day begins!
I woke up at 5:45am the morning of Saturday, November 10, 2018. I hadn't even opened my eyes, and I was already smiling, and no wonder! It was Fall Rally Day 2018! That meant there was a huge day ahead of me and it was going to be a fun one, so I started getting ready immediately!
📷
It was around 9am when I saw the intimidating red/black structure of rails, followed by this unique entrance. When we got past that entrance, our bus driver drove all the way around the spot, where we came face to face with enormous structures in white with blue & green rails, teal with orange rails, orange with dark blue rails, and a HUGE Superman tower! Yup, we had finally arrived at Six Flags Magic Mountain!
We walked from where our driver dropped us off to the main entrance, where a LOT of other Key Clubbers were already waiting in line anxiously to get into the park! It was at this time where a Green Monkey (Division 13 North) asked me HOW I FEEL! AND A REMIX! What a unique way to start your day, right?! I finally got through to the main entrance, just in time to catch the official park opening to the public, with a voiceover welcoming guests to SFMM, and to let the Magic of the Mountain begin (see what they did there? ;) in 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!!! And the park was open to one and all!
Events during the day!
Once I got into the park, I was pretty much touring the place for a bit until I found some fellow Pirate Penguins! BAD TIMING because at the same time, 13 South, the Ninjas, were walking in, and right then and there sparked a Spirit Battle! (People on CraZanity got a good view of it. ;) Together with that group, we boarded Gold Rusher, and it was fun, except I belted out some cheers during the ride!
Ahhh, lunch time! Everyone's favorite time of day! NOT WHEN YOU'RE THE LAST PERSON IN LINE! It was worth it, however, since I stumbled into a friend from catechism and made new friends from Division 42 East! Sometime after lunch, it was time to head to the Golden Bear Theatre for the main event, the Spirit Rally! I was just about to lead D19N in our signature "Repeat After Me!" cheer, but the CAMS Key Club president had beaten me to it! What an inconvenience! So instead, when that cheer was done, I just led them into chanting "19 NORTH! 19 NORTH! 19 NORTH! 19 NORTH!". Inside the rally (which went on for about an hour), the hype was CRAZY!! And my, oh my, were we close to winning our 3rd Spirit Stick in a row! But when you compare it to RTC, it sure felt like a win to me just getting into the final round! (If a 13 South Ninja is reading this, be warned that 19 North is going to win next year! ;)
The (unexpected) Grand Finale: Full Throttle!
Once the Spirit Rally was done, I looked for my cousin and tried to convince him to ride my favorite roller coaster with me. Sadly, even he admitted to being a chicken, so he ran off with his feathers and rode Gold Rusher. I can't blame him! I was just like him at one point last year! Just as it looked like I was going to have a disappointing end to Fall Rally Day 2018 with no one to ride my favorite ride with and having lost the Spirit Stick, the Head Spirit Coordinator, Ramses, finds me. His mindset was just like mine during that time.
The time was 5:45pm. The line for my ride was 1 hour long, and we were leaving at 6:30pm. Basically, no riding my favorite this year. HOW SAD WAS THAT!!! :,( That's when we got the most pleasant surprise. A man came up to us and gave us a FRONT-OF-THE-LINE PASS to that ride! My, oh my, was I happy after a while!!! The catch was that you needed 8 people to use it, so we called up the HMSA Key Club board and 5 people from the Board showed up within 10 minutes. The time was 6:00, and we were right there! My heart is already racing from coldness and excitement just watching the trains of the ride take off towards an enormous loop. Finally, it was our time to ride.
Joining me and Ramses for that ride were HMSA Key Club President Jezelle, IP VP Russell, Historian Andres, Lawndale Key Club President Sally, and 2 more guests to complete our "Elite 8". We all boarded the train to ride, all buckled in, lap bars down and ready to go. Then, this interesting conversation between operator and riders happened:
Operator: Let's play a game. It's called "Simon Says".
Riders: Wow, blah blah blah.
Me: Babbbyyyyyy……
Operator: Simon Says PUT YOUR HANDS UP.
*RIDE LAUNCHES*
Riders: AHHHHHHH
Me: SHARK DO DO DO DO DO DO
Off we went into that giant loop, that ride launch being one of my favorite feelings in the world since 70 mph feels like 200 right there! Yup, it was Full Throttle! <3 When the ride finished, I gave a few more people some hugs, and it was time to go home.
